Inauguration of New Shuttle Court and Carrom Board Facilities
On the occasion of fostering physical fitness and promoting indoor recreation among students, our college proudly inaugurated the newly constructed Shuttle Badminton Court and Carrom Board Court on 30-5-2025. This much-awaited addition to our campus facilities was officially inaugurated by our esteemed Principal Sr. Anita E. Dias and dynamic Vice Principal Sr. Irene Savitha Martis in a short yet meaningful ceremony.
The event was held in the presence of faculty members, sports coordinators, and enthusiastic students. In her address, Principal Sr. Anita E. Dias emphasized the importance of sports and games in shaping a student’s holistic development. She encouraged students to make the best use of the new courts not only to improve their physical health but also to build teamwork and sportsmanship.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by an exciting demonstration match of badminton and a friendly round of carrom, where students participated with great enthusiasm.
With these new additions, the college takes one more step toward building a balanced and vibrant student life that includes both academics and recreational growth.
