WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION
World Environment Day was celebrated in our institution on 5 June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The programme was presided over by Vice Principal Sr. Ireen Saveetha Martise in the presence of all the faculty members and students.
The celebration began with a welcome address highlighting the importance of protecting the environment and promoting sustainable living. In her presidential address, Sr. Ireen Saveetha Martise emphasized the need for environmental awareness and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
Various activities were organized to create awareness about environmental conservation. The faculty members and students actively participated in the programme, demonstrating their commitment to a cleaner and greener environment. Informative talks were delivered on topics such as waste management, tree plantation, and the conservation of natural resources.
As part of the celebration, environmental awareness samples/materials were distributed to the students to educate them about sustainable practices and environmental protection. The distribution was well received and helped reinforce the message of environmental responsibility.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Vice Principal, faculty members, and students for their enthusiastic participation. The celebration successfully inspired everyone to contribute towards protecting and preserving the environment for future generations.
